You'll find some pictures from a photo shoot (with the Charlotte Camera Club) at the McColl Center for Visual Arts from last week posted under the Gallery tab. Be sure to check them out. The class was led be Daniel Arredondo who did a wonderful job of teaching all skill levels, making them feel comfortable and confident while having a lot of fun. A great evening!

It's sunflower time again in South Carolina! If you're close enough, head out McConnels Highway and after turning toward Brattonsville, you'll run into the area on the right side of the road. Check out my Draper Management Area sunflower photographs in my gallery.

Rock Hill's Bloomfest was a great success with fair skies and warm weather. Highlights included talented vendors and strolling guitar players. I saw many people walking by with beautiful garden plants, bird houses with copper roofs, a bat box (which I had never seen before), and many other items. Thanks to the City employees and volunteers who were so helpful to the vendors and visitors. I hope many of you were able to come out. If you missed it, be sure to mark your calendars for next year.

The Rotunda Gallery is on the second floor right above the Civitas. We would like to share with you some of our favorite pictures we've taken while out exploring our wonderful State of South Carolina.

A must see for the photographer or sightseer who enjoys waterfalls and doesn't mind a hike. As you continue up the mountain, the waterfalls get more beautiful. For those going alone, no concerns as the waterfalls are near the path; you don't have to hike deep in the forest to see them. Location: Between Henderson and Brevard, NC

A fun event held each summer in Rock Hill. Whether you currently have a dog or not, you'll find interesting and friendly people with their amazing pets. A terrific event to visit if you're not certain what type of dog you'd like. You'll walk away having made your decison.
